    Fine dining in the Stube

At Ansitz Steinbock, a culinary experience of your dreams awaits, all set in the most intimate ambiance. This charming hotel is home to two exceptional restaurants: a cozy à la carte restaurant and an exquisite gourmet restaurant. For hotel guests, there's also the option to stay on a half-board basis, allowing you to enjoy a varied five-course Alpine dinner each day, known as Steinbock Klassik.

Here, you'll savor sublime signature dishes inspired by traditional South Tyrolean cuisine, enhanced with a contemporary twist. The award-winning gourmet restaurant is small and exclusive, with just eight tables. Its warm wooden interior, adorned with beautiful wood carvings, exudes a rustic charm that sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey.

Wine enthusiasts will be in their element in the impressive Gothic-style wine cellar, located six meters underground. Here, you'll find over 800 wine labels, including rare gems from South Tyrol. During a tasting or dinner, you can discover these exceptional Alto Adige wines while the sommelier guides you on an inspiring journey through the region’s rich wine landscape.

A building with a rich history

Ansitz Steinbock boasts a rich history deeply intertwined with the South Tyrol region. The building dates back to the late Middle Ages and has undergone significant transformations over the centuries. Its origins trace back to the 13th century when it served as the residence of the local nobility. Today, it has been meticulously transformed into the luxurious boutique hotel it is today.

The hotel's renovation was carried out with great care and attention by Elisabeth Rabensteiner, the owner of Ansitz Steinbock. Her keen sense of style has greatly influenced the hotel's current ambiance. Thanks to her efforts, authentic features such as the original wooden beams, vaulted ceilings, and decorative elements have been preserved and skillfully integrated into the modern interior. The contemporary design has been carefully selected to create a serene and refined atmosphere, resulting in a space that is both inviting and luxurious.

    Suites with private sauna

At Ansitz Steinbock, no two rooms are the same. You can choose from one of the 12 rooms or suites, each offering ultimate comfort while maintaining its own unique character. The rooms feature exquisite details such as rustic beam ceilings with wood carvings. Some rooms boast private balconies with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains or a freestanding bathtub in the center of the room. You can also expect ample space, as nearly all rooms are over 40 m² in size. The Neuhaus Suite, with two separate bedrooms, even offers 62 m² of space. Another significant advantage is that nearly all rooms and suites are equipped with a private Finnish or infrared sauna, allowing you to enjoy a sauna experience in complete privacy. It’s the perfect way to relax after a long hike or an elaborate dinner.
